I have been DJing for about 10 years. I fell in love with house/dance/club music as a teenager when I happened upon a Tony Humphries radio broadcast from Club Zanzibar. I didn't know what "house" was, but I knew I loved what I heard. I began seeking out this new sound and there began my education and immersion into DJ/house/dance culture! I have seen many phases of DJ culture come and go but one thing remains the same: THE LOVE! I can not imagine life without this music, without the platform for expression, spontaneity, joy, and freedom it brings. I am on a search for truth and authenticity both in myself and in music. I find my own way, even if that sometimes means losing my way. I have great respect for my peers and those who came before me and those who will come after, but I am not afraid to try something new and express my own feelings and creative impulses even if some may not agree, understand, or appreciate them. We all have something unique and valuable to offer; it is our birthright to discover what that is.
